The
Islip Arts council is very proud to present Local Color 2012: A Photography
Show.
All art
work was juried for acceptance by the Committee. Only professionally pieces,
framed and ready to hang were accepted.
Categories include B/W and color photography. Each artist was allowed to
submit 3 images.
The exhibit is at Seatuck- located at 550 S.Bay Ave in Islip NY. The Exhibit isfrom April 15 until May 12th 2012. Their mission
statement is Long Island businesses
helping to conserve Long Island wildlife and the environment. The theme of the
exhibit is "The beauty of Nature on Long Island". The wildlife that
is exhibited must be a resident or migratory to Long Island.
Eddie
Mooney is a member of the Council, the Islip Chamber of Commerce, Long Island
Photo Gallery (LIPG) and the Montauk Artist Association.
